i'm just wondering what's the quantity of 35th superstars? pickyourshoes.com says for example on NY from cities series "*very limited pairs released worldwide".

They were open allocation.
Adidas would've kept making them until demanded dropped to a set level.
There's a post about it somewhere with all the numbers.

I suppose you could claim that the general release shoes are now in limited numbers, seeing as they dont actually make them anymore.
