if that's totally impossible, where do i find a pair of relatively cheap luxs in the same size? color doesn't really matter.

as far as i know the superstar lx isn't the same as the lux. or perhaps i'm calling it a wrong name.

this is the shoe i'm after (but in black): http://www.pickyourshoes.com/collectible/adidas_superstar_lx.htm . i can't find it on ebay.

Right, the black ones have been on the bay recently but maybe not in your size.
Old release now so you'll need to be patient.
