Eh? Must be something wrong with mine, I swear, every piece of meat, chicken or steak, that I put in that thing comes out lookin like I bought it from Land of Leather.

I reckon the best way to cook a steak at home (without firing up the barBQ) is on a very hot griddle pan. Man, I wish it was steak day today

Don't know what you're doing wrong then fella.
Maybe the thermostat on yours is fucked.
I just wait till I know it's good 'n hot and then go for it.
Little bit of oil on the steak and bosh.
Job done.

I've only done it a couple times admittedly, and I do like my steak very rare, so it maybe doesn't stand up for longer cooking periods?

Griddle pan is my usual method, as I don't own a Foreman, just get a go when I go back home!

Meeting mates for beers and noodles tonight, might try and get them to go for steak now instead...

Having a moment of quiet reflection on hearing the news that a young man I've been working with for a while has attempted to chop someone's leg off with a machete and is now looking at a very long stretch. Such a shame as he's come a long way since we first met and I really thought he'd turned a corner and put all that shizzle behind him. Ah well, can't win em all.

I've mostly been getting up early.
Saw the hour of 5 and something this morning.
A couple of years ago, I'd have only just stopped talking to Pirate at that time.
