Basically got out the shower, got dressed, then felt summat dripping down ma leg. Noticed it was blood, a fucking shitload of it. Didn't hurt or anything though. After it wouldn't stop and I'd ruined my good shorts, I phoned NHS 24 who advised me to go to casualty. At 11pm on a Thursday night. Started feeling a bit light-headed so my flatmate drove me there, waited for 3 hours to be told it was basically a blood blister right on top of a large vein. Must of caught it while drying. Fearing stitches, I was no less relieved to be told it would have to be cauterised instead, and that it "will sting a bit". Felt quite chuffed as it didn't hurt at all, only for the pain to kick in about 20 seconds later, and resulted me in walking like John Wayne for a few days afterwards.

Good times.
