Not even one week after the PSN goes back up and the same day as reading an interview with the people behind the new Playstation 3 game LA Noire in which they mentioned that the latest software update meant that a lot of older machines wouldn't be able to run newer games and would subsequently overheat or RLOD.
Yep, you guessed it.
I am fucking livid!

I thought it was pretty clear, yeah, my PS3 is fucked!
It's not the game, it's Sony's latest software update that's done it.
It's either something to do with increased security or a cynic might conclude that they need to sell more Playstations so they've made sure the update will almost certainly burn out the old ones.
i won't be taking this lying down and I will take them to small claim's court,
Get a new Playstation, I will!
