I think what your problem is Robert... well obviously there are plenty of them, but let's stick with the squeaking. Most Vin's have leather insole which is much more slippery than other type of fabrik insoles. That makes your feet move when you walk and that probably makes the noise in combination with wrong kind of socks or actually the material of the socks. I have that same sometimes but that the squeaking noise is nowhere near the noise that comes from tongue/laces squeak.
Change the sock and your problems should go away.

@P, you know you don't have to read these things if it makes you feel uncomfortable. That makes me think you actually like to watch guys taking of their shoes

Sorry guys if I made you all feel uncomfortable. I am no Josh and I don't like taking my vins off slowly I just own some bad socks.

Nylon, Lycra, Polyester...its all the same...nothing beats good old cotton for comfort and the non-slip factor...you wear these in soups???


Most peeps only wear these materials in dress shoes....next thing you're gonna say is that you wear white sports socks with your dress shoes!


Thats why for me, the 80s soups are great - can't beat that suede liner/insole

I don't really have any socks without Lycra so I wear them in my shoes to work and in my supes. But not for long. The misses is gonna buy som nice cotton socks for me .

And I don't ever wear white sports socks. Even when I go play squash I wear my Lycra black socks I look like a complete nerd though but I don't give a fuck.
