I collect great white shark carcasses

My collection of fluffy bunny wabbits is coming on strong

RE: Holy Grail superstars - MtN - 24-02-10

The 35th Anniversary City series is my holy grail - That was when I really became interested in Superstars (other than the original, which I have always loved to walk around in)... I love my Bostons, but feel guilty that I have (mis)used them, they are not in the best shape anymore.

I would love to get my hands on some of the other superstars from the 35th City series, such as:
Tokyo
London
Berlin
New York
and of course, a fresh pair of Bostons

(US 9.5 if anyone stumbles across a pair... Smile)

I've heard some crazy things, but having the City series as your Grails takes the cake. You've seen some of them, right?

RE: Holy Grail superstars - Sweet_Kicks - 24-02-10

At least he's not after the Paris' or the Buenos Aires', unless he already has them Confused

RE: Holy Grail superstars - nikosg - 24-02-10

aint exactly rare

RE: Holy Grail superstars - steve-o - 24-02-10

lol wow... just... wow...

RE: Holy Grail superstars - Big J - 24-02-10

New Yorks are the only really nice pair in that lot, I have the Tokyo's too but they barely get worn.

Each to their own though.

RE: Holy Grail superstars - kt0626 - 24-02-10

Righto J....but the NY's wouldn't be your grail though, would it....? The City Series doesn't even meet the requirements under which 'grail' is described as (desirable/hard to come by/limited to a certain degree, etc)...

RE: Holy Grail superstars - Big J - 24-02-10

Certainly wouldn't be my grail, can't see how they would be anyone elses, but like I say, each to their own. Wink.

Maybe he really likes geography or something.

RE: Holy Grail superstars - Squeaky - 24-02-10

Each to their own. I don't like those NY's at all, but I do like the Berlin's (still haven't found them Sad). I don't really like all the other Cities either.

RE: Holy Grail superstars - MtN - 24-02-10

Wow, not much love in my direction for that... Smile

As I mentioned in my previous post, the City series was what opened my eyes for Superstars in other styles than the original colorway - and yeah, I love geography and have actually visited each of the cities, I mentioned (I've also been in Paris, but wouldn't buy or wear those in a million years - that goes for the Buenos Aires as well)

And yes, I know that these are not totally impossible to get ones hands on, but I'm still a student and my budget doesn't really allow a lot of eBay'ing, so at least for the next year or so, I'll have to wait for that first real paycheck... Smile

RE: Holy Grail superstars - scruphdawg - 24-02-10

For me, it has to be the Ian Brown's. gotta have some of those! I also would really like to have some of the choco/choco that seem to be impossible to find. 11.5 US please!

RE: Holy Grail superstars - MJF - 24-02-10

Must admit I do like the NY's but no, wouldn't class them or the others as a Holy Grail.

I actually don't think I have one...hmmm

RE: Holy Grail superstars - mr.pure - 25-02-10
