SS1's have little padding, SS2's have more paddin an are bit comfyer, but what are the ones that have the one piece foam tongue, like them ones pokeys got?

Safeties, some 35ths (DMCs, PPs), SS1 and ss80s are the ones with foam tongues. I think you're getting vins and ss1s mixed up

(For the record, Pokey's are SS1s, it even says so in his post )

nice one, pokey. i still haven't worn my all white pair. still think they're one of the finest looking pairs ever and I'm reluctant to crease them.

very nice pokey! I got an all white pair of ss2's but im after an all white pair of s1s with shells that colour... where did they come from?

Those blue and yellow doodahs are made from a heavy canvas, definitely not nylon.
