I bought them for my white/blue CLR's but I think they look better in the Adicolors:

Flipped the black laces to 'gold' (similar to the LQ laces)

Not sure if it works exactly like I was hoping for, might change them to some forest green ones instead...

Thanks mate!!! It does make them 'warmer' and give them a little edge. I just wish Adidas had made them with gold (or white) stripes instead of green - green makes them look a little like 'Tate wannebees'

I reckon Adidas did it cos magazines like FHM said the Tates were the most sort after trainers of all time, or some such shit !

- and I wonder why the Tates are so friggin' hard to find. Obviously they're cool as f*ck, but NBHDs are just as cool and limited and show up a lot more often.
It could be because most Tates were sold in Germany and bought by 'regular people' who just wears them? The Star Wars consortiums were flying off the shelves in most countries, yet WoodWood in Copenhagen sold their last pairs on sale because they couldn't get rid of them - same with the blue snakeskin striped 80s consortiums. It's hard to believe, eh?
