Gingham all up in this mu-fuh ya'll!
BBQs is the shits, and dats the truth ruth!
Seriously though, these are one of my faves from the anniversaries. I especially like the fact that they went with the chalk shell and sole rather than white. Just works so well.
I have rocked mine with both red and white laces and it's all good!

And I hate those upper playgrounds!
Hay Jam, The IB's have a vary dark green leather upper (ivy). Infact it looks black, you have to look at it in strong light to make out the real colour.
Shame Jam feels so strongly about the UP's. I was not sure about them untill a few months ago. Now I love them, can't wait for the hot weather to start.
But thanx for all the positive comments troops. Still not quite there with my collection yet......but making progress

yep. i had always stayed away because I didn't think they fit me very well. always more of a stan smiths and gazelles guy because they fit so comfy right out of the box.
but i just had to have the UPs when I saw them and that put me on the path of righteousness. My second pair was snakeskin vins and after those it was nothing but love.

I must admit, i would prefer the UP's to not have the cutlery on the stripes, but as thats kind of the whole point i guess we are stuck with them

I actually like the look of the shoe but it was the cutlery on the stripes that killed them for me. Could have picked a pair up for about £40 a while back but couldn't justify paying out for a pair i wasn't 100% feeling.
Although, in defence of the UP's i've never seen a pair in the flesh.
Yes! Im not alone! The minority is growing

And how can you say you need to be a man to wear them?
Oh look at me Ive got a table cloth pattern on my shoes, with forks and everything

I think I preferred it when the minority was silent.
