Those DMC's are pretty cool. But they aren't worth losing sleep over.
Adidas' recent releases have been dry toast.
The only recent pair I got remotely excited about were the bapes. Then I had an outbreak of common sence and realised that as much as I wanted them, I couldn't justify the cost at the moment.
Adidas need to get their shit together and go back to basics.

What makes the 35th releases, everybody loved, better than adidas' recent releases??? Same for the bapes. I think we are all expecting too much. Why are the 35th Run DMC's better than these new ones???

They've done run dmc and jmj to death.
Excuse the pun.

I'd rather have more jmj stuff than more STAR WARS stuff. Star Wars has been done to death by Adidas...

I reckon of the 35ths there were about 14 (ish) that were (and remain) amazing superstars. Couple that with the quality of a lot of releases in the short time after (beautiful vins a plenty amongst others) and in the few years before and it's little wonder that we're all complaining. Nowadays we get a decent supe every six months if we're lucky and a never ending avalanche of dross passing through these pages.
