I was there in '86 as well, I was a very little lad, I was staying with my Dad who lived in London at the time so off I popped on my own to go see the Gods at work. Went back in '87 to see the Beasties with Public Enemy but that is a story for another day.

On the subject of the Derek B, what was his alter ego he used to 'rap' about called? Jesus, I had that tape, that and the 1st mix by Tim Simenon (Bomb the Bass), knew a DJ in '88, he had the ruff cut of his album on white label. Used to go and see Coldcut live as well at 'alldayers' at old school Top Rank in Southampton. Ah, the memories!!!!!!!!!!!!! good times!

got a pair of those new JMJs
plus another pair that are slightly different
haven't seen either in the flesh so i don't know for certain
should be picking them next week
there are also a few items of clothing being launched

I was only lucky enough to see Run DMC once - Run's House tour in Seattle. Friend's parents drove us down and dropped us off. Jazzy Jeff and Fresh Prince opened. It was amazing.

I've seen Run DMC perform once, opened by Derek B and Public Enemy, but if I had the choice I would have prefered JJ+FP by far! I remember buying tickets to a concert with JJ+FP, Whodini, Skinny Boys (and one more band I can't remember, possibly Kool Moe Dee) but the concert was cancelled and I was devastated. I've only managed to see Jazzy Jeff once when he was doing a 2 hour dj set here in Copenhagen, but it was crazy. He's definitely one of the best djs ever!

Ok im dieing ere!! its the 30th of november (supposedly release day of the 2007 jmj ultrastars!!But can i find a seller??nope can i dogs danglies.Having spoken to footaction who where suppose to get them exclusively 1st!!they dont seem to know anything about them,well at least there online store.
