RE: cleaning and polishing - SenorDragon - 28-04-10

I purchased the Jason Markk cleaner and brush set and it works pretty well at cleaning the shell and midsole. I haven't really tried it on the uppers but from what I have read on other forums, it works well on suede and leather as well.

Try vanish soap ! I have a pair of hemp safety's & It worked on them . If you need me to get you a bar let me know .

Don't put them in the washing machine for crying out loud, that may well ruin them completely, like BigRob says try vanish stain removing bar - foam it up with an old toothbrush straight from the bar and work it into the stain, you should see it draw the colour out.

Thanks all...
I have things to try when i get off work...
I will try to get a vanish stain removing bar tomorrow...
I hope to post a picture in the week with a clean shoe...

It's not that noticeable when it's dry but if it bothers you and you've got to get it out, apply some nail varnish remover or similar solvent and soak the stain in sections then then push hard onto it with kitchen roll.
If you can dissolve the stain it will migrate to the more absorbant material.

Now you can finally buy Jason Markk at the local shoe dealer in Aarhus, Denmark. They will get it up on their website as quickly as they can.
The shop is called Shoe Chapter
