I took up running eight years ago for that reason.

Don't drink that much however I do love me choccy bars, cakes and puddings - christ I love puddings!

So running keeps the "love handles" in check, as I wasn't playing enough football and kept on getting injuries.

It isn't for everyone, but has worked for me.

Oh and this certainly helped.

Slow roasted pork, rosemary and garlic potatoes, butternut squash, cauliflower cheese, carrots and green beans. Served with and balsamic and onion reduction. Followed by a pear and frangepan tart with cream.

Quiet day for me today..
