Wow, 3 pages for this.

Here's how I did it:
1. sent PM to Mr. P with link to auction and question, 'Fella, you think these are real?'
2. Received answer PM from Mr. P, 'Yes'
3. Set ebay snipe
4. Won DMCs.
5. Paid seller.

Ah Cluskey, I was just joking about. It's tough business with all the fakes floating about and I know from experience that it almost takes a certificate from adidas themselves before you can enjoy a pair you aren't sure about.
