Cool have the boffins predicted a time.

There is observatory near my parents. This sounds soo nerderific but the telescope club does free open to public nights. I went last winter there was
Like 20 boffins stood in a car park with NASA style telescopes. It was amazing though. It's cool to meet people who love somethnh so much and want to tell the world. I was

That'll be the Gemenid meteor shower.
It happens every year around this time.
Best time to be out is between 1.30 and 4 in the morning but you should see the odd meteor every now and then beforehand.
You need to be outside for a good 20 minutes for your eyes to adjust to the darkness (not the band !).
The further you can get from civilisation and street lights the better.
It's well worth it, at least once in your life !

So living in the sticks has it's advantages? Schweet. Just means getting up at some silly silly time.. or not going to bed.. Hmmmmmmmmm

Long exposures, f-stop to maximum, I think.
