Can't remember the last time I had an emotional response to the death of a celebrity. Really shocked me when I saw this on the news site this morning. Will be listening to all the B'Boys albums today (already done the first three) RIPMCA.

Play them loud man. I know what you mean about an emotional response, there's a lot of people, myself included, all round the world feeling a bit empty today. His was a life well lived.
I still can't believe it's twenty years since me and my mates piled into an old beetle and chugged up to a little tiny hall in Manchester University to see the Beasties for the first time on the Check Your Head tour. Will never forget them leaping out from behind the speaker stacks, peroxide hair, the bass on shake your rump was life changing.
We all got in touch with each other yesterday, such was the shared experience, even twenty years later. Shame it's in such sad circumstances.
RIP MCA.

Yeah, terrible terrible shame.
My favourite group of artists by a long way.
Saw them twice with Spite at Wembley.
Very, very sad.
