I've got no suggestions as to where you should move to, I just wanted to give you mad props for having been to Denmark - I don't think many Americans even know our small country - even though it's a nice one!

UK would probably be a better choice though as they speak English and I've been told that Danish is a pain to learn... I thought it was quite easy though...

I can't beleive no one has suggested the cultural melting pot that is Barnsley, South Yorkshire.
Have you seen the film Kes....... its not changed much.

And its right nextdoor to Rotherham!!

Last year i was seriously considering jumping ship, I was considering trying to transfer to the states in the company i was working for at the time, or moving to Europe. Unfortunaltely there have been quite a few changes to circumstances and as a result the idea died

I think the whole worlds in recession thanks to two stupid banks in the US funding the sub prime market and world banks buying into it.

Like its been said before in economics, when America sneezes, the rest of the world catches a cold...
When it all 1st happend last year, I was hopeful that we wouldnt feel the pinch here, sadly that wasnt to be.

And it didnt help with my potential transfer last year being that the company I worked for was a sub prime mortgage company heavily linked with a major US automotive company and funded by lots of US investment companies...

I may be slightly biased but what about Newcastle.

Always a good night out
Friendly locals (if you can understand us)
Reasonable prices
Plenty of culture
Nice surrounding area

Weathers pretty poor tho.

Well said that man (or women!) what you also need to understand that it isn't Bush or Brown who make these policies, many times their just the stoodge or front guy, it's the people behind the leaders who cause the fook ups! Still could be worse, you could live in China or Zimbabwe!
