deftoned Wrote:I think I remember Kashi's being mentioned, but in no way did they receive anything close to a good review, they are crap shoes that look like they were in an unfortunate explosion in a paint, glue and glitter factory. I've seen blind people throw up when facing them.

I'd like to vote for colour - i'd get a bit sick of greyscale
Kashi's aren't they the ones where there is a style called Librace after they camp pianist?? If so they are bl00dy awful!!

"oh whats the time? I know il look at my shoe!"

Exactamondo... those fond memories come flooding back!

No.. but seriously, Liberace shoes with piano keys is too much.

Still, some of the patterns on those shoes individually I think could have been put to good use.

I like colour a lot, but then you've got the whole thing of matching it. I think monotone is probably easier to deal with.

RE: The colour debate... - Samo - 28-03-08

i can tolerate gold detailing on kicks and even a hint of glitter for ladies shoes (ecko red shoes)

But to have a shoe that looks like it was in the centre of a glitter factory explosion and was then caught out in the glitter fallout from said explosion and then abused by a bunch of glitter glue wielding children afterwards...Confused

They are nasty!

And what was the deal with the heel clock? Not cool and not practical...

loverlyVery Happy

RE: The colour debate... - woody - 28-03-08

What sort of a stupid thread is this? Jesus...

RE: The colour debate... - kaisifus - 28-03-08

Not stupid. It has raised many valuable questions and answered many more.

Is Putting Glitter on your shoes a good idea? Probably not.

Is putting clocks on your shoes a good idea? Also probably not, not the most practical place for a time piece.

Piano Keys? A valuable survival assett definitely.

Oh by the way guys, these came in the post today and I'm pretty goddam happy!

I'm having issues seeing any of the links / pictures that have been posted, so I can't comment on what you've posted beforehand...

Just seen the ones you received today - they are quite bright!
I only have one pair of rather colourful kicks - http://www.press.adidas.com/desktopdefault.aspx/tabid-226/ and I love them!

RE: The colour debate... - justtommie - 28-03-08

I love the Pucci patterns and colors. I have been trying for a while now to find those in my size. I will admit if they were supes I would be trying harder.

RE: The colour debate... - mr.pure - 28-03-08

Good girl, that's the spirit.

RE: The colour debate... - kaisifus - 28-03-08

I made that mistake aswell.. good thing I read that. Those shoes are nice but I did think there was something wrong with them..
