you can find a lot of superstars for less than 40$, brand new, boxed on ebay.

As pure said, if your talking rare then mentioning samples and one off pairs made for celebs is pointless.
As far as SS goes your talking bape's, consortiums, top secrets and anything old and very deadstock basically, made in france etc.
I wouldn't include the tops secrets to be honest as it's not like you could walk into a shop and buy them so I'd probably go for the black staff edition bapes.

The rarest ones i know of exist in my mind and are made of pure Thundrilliem (any Thundercats fans out there will understand that!)
Other than that, I guess anything with only a few hundred pairs worldwide (as the guys already said, Consortiums, Bapes etc)
Would you guys could the JMJs? 5,000 made, but still rare!
