Yeah alittle soap and some scrubbing along with a nice brush I have cleaned them up real nice. I'm gonna relace them again the right way hahahahaha. You guys are a tough crowd

Lace them up anyway you like Fella, there is no right or wrong way. Despite what some people seem to think.
If you put fatter laces in and laced them straight to avoid the gaps they would like fine.
Go with what you like not what you feel you have to , tis a free country afterall last time i checked.
