Ain't certain, but I would think that ordinary east/wests go for about $250-$300, and there was only 100 of each made... I doubt if someone who got a hold of a ultra limited pair like this would be selling them with a BIN of $170??
There again, there are some plums out there!

They were $120 on release weren't they ?
I've seen other pairs sell for as little as £50.
