I'm not too fussed about them, I'd like the white ones, the grey ones or the black ones but I'm not too bothered if I end up with none of them.

Neither. One of my girlfriends acquaintances just came back from Melbourne where he bought $3000 shoes (1 pair). They're Handmade Italian leather and only 100 made, and to me they just look like slightly flash metro man shoes that every second business man wears, and no one will ever know the difference. I actually prefer the $150 pair that I get made to wear when trainers 'aren't appropriate'. Imagine the superstar haul he could've had for that!
