What about as far as keepin them in glass cabinet? Im starting up a collection (that'll never touch the soles of my feet), and wanna keep em fresh n clean. Can you get some sorta sneaker protector? And, what the deal with having them under lights? Is that a sure way to make em fade? If theres any other collecters out there, lemmie know what ya think. This sites been pretty helpful so far, keep up the good work..Peace

Some lights especially sunlight can fade the colour.
Why you dont intend to wear any of them?
Thats the main joy of having them, well it is for me anyway.

Same. They're shoes, designed to be worn.

Couldn't not wear them, fuck, you might get run over, then you would never have known the pleasure of having them on your feet.
Get 'em on !!

Good point that.

I've only got 1 pair of SS I haven't worn yet and that's because they are Hemp and will fall apart/stink if I do Laughing

Will wear em one day though

My tools for cleaning:
Toothbrush
Old, well used scouring pad (good for the mid-sole)
Washing Up liquid (have tried many things and this seems to work the best)
and for bringing up the nap on the ol' suedes, a brass bristled spark plug brush (about ?1 from most hardware stores)

Rubber for the midsoles.
