I've experienced something like that. Sometimes postie takes the package with him to see if there is someone home and then leaves a note. Sometimes they are just too lazy to haul it around as it's not going to fit in to the mail box anyways.
Most days I'm working from home or leave so late that postie has already knocked twice, but not today.
Well tomorrow then.
Maybe I'll find something nice from Juicy Sneakers that ease the pain.

We were talking about exams and shit earlier and it's fucking clear to me that they're dumbing them down.
I just, for the hell of it, took part of a current GCSE Physics paper.
Haven't been at school and studied Physics nor anything else for that matter for more than 20 years.
Just got 75% for the section I took on wavelengths and frequencies.
First of all I was amazed and a bit ed that some old fart like me could get 75% when I ain't done shit for 20 years.
But that soon subsided when I noticed that I'd been awarded a B for my 75% !
Sorry, but in my day, as I believe it should be, you needed 80% minimum to get a B and 90% to get an A.
I take it that the joke grade of A* is for 90% and above now ?
I'm gonna try and get hold of a complete Physics paper and sit it with no revision whatsoever and see how I stack up.

I wouldnt really worry about it too much P.
I know plenty of people who got As and A*s in GCSE and A level but got kicked out of uni cos they cant hack it.
They all come out in the wash in the end fella.
