I reckon a NY tri would be OK, especially if combined with Xmas shopping or something, flights are pretty cheap again. You'd be saving a fair bit on the trainers compared to Berlin price.

Dont mean to rain on anyones parade but if you went to NY for a shopping trip, exactly HOW many do you think you are going to bring back? The mi superstar takes 3-4 weeks for delivery and adidas arent going to skip the customs thing are they? so you will still get shafted!!

I guess the wait will do us good! Berlin is easier I reckon. £79 flights, get an apartment for a few nights, do the business and see the sites!

Pure mentioned in a previous thread that 2009 is the date for London to get this service, floodgates would open if the NY member put their head up and said yes!!! Big respect if they do like! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
