Yeah apparently so but so far Microsoft are denying it's a fault. They're actually saying my machine has already exceeded its expected lifespan (I bought it in 2005) I can safely say I shall not be buying a new one.

I didn't play killzone 2, purely on the fact it lost the best thing about it. Co op career gameplay!!!
Had the first one on ps2, me and my mate got it for a bargain 30aud and was easily one of the best ps2 games we played. Because of the awesome two player career mode!! So much fun

Yeah it should have had a co-op mode for sure but it was still a great game. Online its was good as well even if the smaller maps could be alittle crowded somtimes. I'm going to pre-order a copy at lunch time today.

Finally bought a games console, a good while after my last post in this thread asking for advice back in 2009 sometime.
Went for the wii, seemed the best option with two small kids and a technophobic missus. I know most here favour the other ones but the last anything like this I owned was a 48k spectrum so I'm taking it softly softly.
Anyhoo, now seem to be addicted to Mario Kart, if anyone plays it online let me know yer code thing.
Can anyone recommend any decent grown up games for the wii to go along with the kids' stuff ?

I used to have a wii GeeBee got ride of it due to the fact it was all kids games. The only thing I could recommend is The Godfather & Spiderman 3. You should be able to pick these up for peanuts as they both came out years ago.

Can anyone remember the name of a game from the mid to late 80s where you sort of hung off the side of a rocket/cannon shooting dragons that flew towards you ?
The dragons were in sections and they came towards you like a rollercoaster.
