SSDB custom model - kungfuyoazz - 28-08-09

Suppose we managed to get a large group of us (50?) to come up with the cash to buy a limited run of custom SS's. Would Addidas go for it? How many would need to be produced for them to go for it? How hard would it be for all of us to agree on one design? Good idea/bad idea? Discuss.

bad idea. and you will never make a shoe that fits everybody taste. and adidas will never go for it. unless we are group of (50?) noble prize winners.

I thought about it after seeing the Adidas Revelation Records Campus Vulc. They only made 150 of them supposedly. It's not like they are on the level of sales/celeb as Bad Boy for instance. I'm willing to bet we could find some common ground on the design. Put it to a vote and all that. We could get 50 people to go for it no? Or ebay 'em later.
I say cream colored vin's clear soles with logo underneath....call them the "pure" model, lol, I don't care as long as they look cool.

Yeah true...lol...but to own yet another pair of custom limited ss's, who could pass up on that around here? We could vote the top 5 and do a model a year for 5 years.... Just thinking out loud here.

No, seriously, we tried to organise having some t-shirts printed and we couldn't even decide on a final design for those.
Never mind all the grief involved in someone paying for the printing as well.

Good that the idea is vins though.
Best superstar... but there you go, enuff on here that rate the ss2, 1, 80s etc higher... would be nice but a collab is probably a non starter although would like to be proved wrong.
The real question is why can't you get a miadidas vin?
Divs... I'd never be out of Liverpool if I could make my own vins, and their little making station is gathering dust.
