Shoe Jewellery.
#1

Why not post your pictures of any trainer jewels you've got on here.
Also if anybody wants anything made to order, I'd be happy to assist.
Me, I love the jewel that came with the Hufs recently.

I also love the Ian Brown tags just not on the front.

hmmm, sounds interesting. Would it be possible for you to make some lace tags similar to the consortium ones, with 'dj wildthing' instead of consortium - and how much would it cost? I would probably need 10 pairs...

The Consortium tags are made from anodized Aluminium but if they were exactly the same size your probably looking at about around £22 a pair in 925 Silver plus original casting fees which should be around £15.
They'd have to be made out of Silver as that's the cheapest metal I use.
You might get something as simple as this made by a local engineering firm, they would press it and anodize it to get the colour in.
So if you had 10 pairs you'd be looking at £235 in total with subsequent pairs only costing £22 without further casting charges.
I was expecting one offs but to do what your thinking certainly works out cheaper.

I know where your coming from but I think some of them, especially the more contemporary styles that are starting to come out, look kinda cool.

would these be silver or gold looking then? I assume silver since that's the material used. What if they were made out of brass instead, would that be cheaper or more expensive? I don't think the price is too bad, although I can't afford it at the moment, but I might just get back to you on this.

Definitely still want to get some customs made Mr. Pure, not sure what I'm after yet though, I don't want to rush into it and then have some good ideas when I've already had them done!

I'm working on it though!

I was thinking maybe a big letter W, around the same size as the IB tags? or something the same size a s aregular lace tag, totally flat and with a W pressed into it.

Wishing it was like the old days again

I've got a few pairs of shoe jewellery - I think they are well smart but on the right shoe - I found that the silver colourway Adidas chrome grids are mint on my warhols, on fat white laces. I tried em on my graffiti's but they were too much, but cos they on fat whites on warhols they look nice - not too much.

I also got the small silver lace tags on my graffiti's - they are small and flat with just the trefoil leaf cut out of them. These are well nice - really subtle cos the graffiti's are mad enough especially with the patterned laces - and I had to replace those shitty plastic lace clips the graffiti's come with - they were awful

I just bought these in gold too, to go on my buenos aries - they look nice too Smile

I want to get some more grids now for my (soon to be mine lol) upper playgrounds Smile
