Read somewhere else that apparently someone bought that shoe from Footlocker - with the belief that the toe was printed too - and when they received it, it was printless. When they contacted Footlocker, supposedly the image was a mistake and they don't have a print on the toe.

I hope that's true as a white shell is way more appealing. The printed one looks proper shit.

This is what he posted at the "adidas Superstar Fans" Facebook page:
"Received these today from Foot Locker. 1st off the picture on their site has the snakeskin toe cap and these obviously don't. 2nd they shipped these in a plastic shipping bag so the box is in pretty bad shape.
I called their customer service regarding these not matching the picture on their website. They put in a request to have a few pairs pulled from the warehouse and looked at to determine if all of them have the white toe. They offered to refund my money and cover return shipping if I want to return them or exchange them if they actually have some with the snakeskin toe, which I don't think exist.
I'll keep them if they don't have an all snakeskin pair. They are a very nice shoe either way."

i know its been said before that sometimes samples change when it comes to production, or the press pic is slightly different to prevent fakes, but thats a fucking joke. I agree that they look better with a white shell, but if your selling something you should have a pic of the product that you will be sending. otherwise you may aswell just have a pic of a standard white n black superstar and its like a lucky dip as to what you actually receive.
on the same lines I just saw this.. very basic colour sports direct style colour way but with premium leather apparently.. heres the pic thats saying its soon come...




and heres the shoe that they are selling?!?!.. ermm,...considerably shittier, didnt know if i should add this here as it follows on from false advertising conversation, blood boil or soon come..lol
