Well.. adidas Hyped the Superstar with their campaign with some "superstars" like Pharrell Williams. So the hype is set and all of those people always following the "hypes" buys the shit out of those ugly things. (Quantity over quality)

I really want to hate those winglets but they remind me of one of my favourite childhood Marvel characters: Sub-Mariner, who had little wings on his ankles. That said, I wouldn't ever buy them though. That, would be fucking idiotic.

Just hope they're not some sort of "gateway" shoe to lure in unsuspecting Supe collectors.  You know, you buy one pair of Supes with a small, almost indiscernible little wing. Next thing you know you’re hooked on the hardcore stuff and find yourself mincing round south London in skinny jeans and a pair of Jeremy Scott’s rainbow Teddy-Bear monstrosities.
