Hi all,

A big heads up for those of you who are buying mi supes.

First of all, they've added blue to the roster! Your overall shoe can be a proper shade of blue now.

Secondly, they've changed the price of the supe from £95 to £90, but at the same time as they've made positive amendments, they've also gone and done something really stupid:

(3) I believe any superstar you had saved before the amendments has been erased. I have several saved, and as I've clicked to edit them, the site first tells you it cannot find the shoe, then, it bloody deletes it from your cache!

(4) They changed a lot of the base design options they had, which is, I believe, why they've deleted anything that came in prior to the amendments. The way you sig mark you shoe has also been altered. Where it previously went along the line of the first stripe, it now goes at about 35 degrees just before the stitching on the outside of the shoe. They have also changed the font and size - this change is shite.

(5) You now have eyelets and you have no option to remove them. This is also shite, all you can do is try and blend them into the lining of the eyestay outer material. What makes this worse is that there are fewer eyestay hole colour options than there are eyestay linings, so if, say, you pick a brown eyestay lining, there is no brown eyestay hole option. Stupid. The eyestay hole thing should be optional.

(6) You now have the personalisation options of the Stan Smith's for the Superstar's. i.e. all the international lace jewels and all the NBA logos - they've removed the option to date your shoe on the lace jewel.

I can't think of anything else at the minute. I'm gutted that all my saved shoes are gone. With the new options and the removal of some of the old colours and options, I can't even recreate those shoes, so unless they fix this with time, they're gonna have a lot of pissed of customers, I reckon.

It's good that they're making progress, in a manner, but really daft that they've removed options and especially so that they've deleted all the saved shoes very probably thousands of customers had.

Did anyone else have their entire save cache deleted?

Like, your shoes are still there but when you click on them, the site says they're unable to find it, then the next time you go to your saved shoes, the shoe you chose has disappeared?

I've just checked. I had 7 saved and at first glance they were all still there. But as soon as I tried to edit one it deleted them all and said start again....Why they can't carry them over is beyond me....And me 4 only the insole was lemon....it seems great minds do think alike...

My designs are still there. Haven't tried to open though. Some new options are really shite. But I like the brown vintage leather (or whatever it's called in english).
