Sneaker shops (and other things to see?) in Amsterdam
#1
I'm going to Amsterdam on thursday to spend the weekend there (going to swing around those glowsticks a bit at Energy 2011 Cool ).

While I'm there, are there any sneaker shops I should pay a visit? So far I only know about Patta. I'm staying at the Multatuli Hotel (Prins Hendrikkade).

I'm going with five other Danish friends, and we're planning on checking out a bar called Feijoa. We're going to a pre-party on friday and the big event in Utrecht on saturday, but we have some time off as well.

What's important to do in Amsterdam besides staring at hookers and getting high Smile ?

Cheers

Not sneaker related but the Rembrandts in the Rijksmuseum are mind-blowing. If you appreciate art that is.

Cool! We (or I) might go there. Last year we stayed in Utrecth, but we wanted to try Amsterdam this year just to try something else.

Coming from Canada, I love Amsterdam! Been twice and would go back more if I could afford it. Crokets (fried little snacks from vending machines LOL) are gr8 but bad for the heart....red light district was typical touristy, but its fun to 'window shop' Wink Dutch girls are the sleeper hotties of Europe IMO...there should be a tonne of sneaker shops besides Patta, given there are alot of dutch 'heads out there....FYI the streets are a big circle though, which can get one confused, esp when riding the tram....

After the sex museum try the cannabis college it's in the middle of the red light district. I choose not to or never have touched the stuff but this place was really interesting. You also get to view there growing crops. Van gough (not sure thats spelt right u know the dude sunflowers and one ear) well his gallery is good and there is a really nice park to chill in close by. Take a canal boat ride n ahem sneak a few beers on. Then to keep the misses sweet the gift shop that is the flower Market. Filled with flowers n other tacky crap.
Always has the answer to lifes dilemas.
