The production value on those are on pair with fakes. There's a significant gap where the shell meet the leather on the outside.
I checked every pair I could find in my size with the same result. It's almost as if the shell from a small shoe was used. That said, the smaller sizes seemed fine (but I didn't check those as thoroughly)
