I know that most Bull Terrier judges are Bullie owners themselves which is why when it comes to getting 1st's at shows can be a closed shop as a judge one week will give a first to a person who will then judge his dog/bitch the following week. Scratch my back etc.
I'd say that each judge likes (and judges) their own breed. We were opposite people showing Cairn Terriers and one women was SOOOOOO upset that she had to prepare her dog near Bull Terriers - who are devil dogs of course!

Fighting the hoards in B&Q at the 20% sale,it was a little manic. Paint and Tiles purchased ready for next weeks kitchen makevoer. My job is too paint the ceiling, so far I have cleaned the rest of the house, took photos of my supes, been to two circuit classes, been down the pub and I went to skipton for the day oh and now I am back in stockton. Erghhhh am running out of excuses not too do it now and the time is getting nearer for the builder invasion.

Aren't Staffs about to be put on the banned breeds list? That even surprised me and I'm about as far from a dog person as you get. Seems to be somewhat missing the point.

Just finished putting together a chicken stew. If it doesn't stop raining soon I'm going to have to start building an ark.

It's election year so "Dangerous Dogs" is one of the hot topics. It's been proposed that people who own "Bull Breeds" will have to have, by law insurance - like that will stop criminals/bad owners using them for protection/fighting.

It still riles me that u have to have a license and a house check to have a dog, but any numbnutts can have a kid. I know its a whole diff ball park and harder to control but its a point.
(just sick of chid protection stuff at work really)

Dog licences were abolished in 1987.
It is law however to put a collar on your dog in public otherwise it is classed as a stray.

Most of the people who want staffies banned don't have a clue about the breed...Any dog in the wrong hands is dangerous simple as just like problem kids/youths its about the parents/owner..Have a dumb ass'd coke head with no morals as a father/mother what chance has the kid got and same goes for the silly pricks who buy a staffie/ebt etc etc for a status symbol,know fook all about the breed and then go about making it into a vicious fuckwit of an animal.
