He is a turd to say the least! Like, 50 years old - or looking like he is....on the topic of films, just saw Avatar in 3D - visually spectacular...storyline was okay too...next gen special effects for sure I'd say....short of it not being a vid game...

I would say that 3D makes it good. With out it's just another movie.

It means that my eyes don't point in exactly the same direction
thus I only look through one eye at one time
hence no depth perception

but does that affect you seeing a 3d movie? they give you the glasses to look through, even only looking through one eye is it not 3d?
does that mean you cant drive a car db?

As far as I know, you need to be able to see through both eyes at the same time in order to view a 3D film properly.

Niko, that's the dumbest thing I think I've read in here in a fucking long time.
If you could see the movie in 3D with just one eye then why are the two lenses different colours ?

Hold those in front of a white computer screen and believe me, it'll look different through each eye.

no shit? just figured out i have a similar thing. went to see avatar in 3D over the weekend, extra $1.50 what the hey right? whole movie i was like 'i'm just not seeing it' my friends thought i was nuts. went to the spec doc today and i have a frickin stigmatism in my left eye. lol, explains why i could never see those damn magic eye posters.
anyways, i didn't have high hopes for avatar; the story was kinda lite, the acting was cheesy and it had hella special effects which were nice, i was impressed but its not gonna be a solid classic or anything.
however, just watched moon starring sam rockwell; pretty good flick, a little slower paced and slightly cerebral but leaves you very satisfied, not something i experience with most of todays blockbusters.
