For those into Hardcore/Punk/Metal :) - BearFaceOfDoom - 17-04-13

My band 'Healer' released our first music video last night.
We're an East UK based Hardcore band from Hull. We spent hours in freezing cold dusty rooms to produce this video so hopefully it's payed off.

I'm also representing with my black and white superstars (Couldn't wear anything too lairy even though it is shot in black and white) and it's this sort of music that got me into superstars in the first place from other heavy bands like Deftones, korn etc wearing them on stage Smile

It definitely won't be to everyones taste and I know I'm a newbie, but surely a bit of shameless self promotion is harmless right? hahaha

Yeah I get that man Smile To be honest, I don't listen to stuff like this everyday. I normally just listen to chilled out acoustic folky stuff or punk Smile

I suppose with this sort of music you could class the vocals as another instrument, so in many ways you wouldn't have to know what the words were at all. But if you've got the words in front of you it all makes sense, I promise haha

Haha yeahh it's above a tatoo shop in Hull city center. It would make a sick dive for an all weekend bender, but the floor is weak and the dust kicks up like anthrax or some shit! so I reckon everyone would fall through and develop asthma!

Big metal fan since early teens. Never been a real fan of this style of vocals though to be honest. Props on the actual music, you've obviously got a talented bunch there. My girlfriend would love that base!
I have to say though, shocking lack of hair for a metal band. Y'all need to represent. I got longer hair on my chin Laughing
Keep it up though, and get some vocal coaching going on. Not to change style, just that you can hear the strain on your vocal chords and you don't wanna fuck your voice up permanantly.

Thanks man! Yeah I got my bass pretty cheap if I remember correctly, its a bit beaten here and there but it sounds awesome! I used to have hair down to my shoulders in school, but then one summer it got too in my face and I lost it and shaved it all off! haha. Big mistake! But maybe one day i'll put the effort into growing it again haha Smile
