You didn't use the proper "quote" button and only the ending tags should have the / !
Welcome Turfin' dude.
Looks like some old school "gliding" to me with some popping and locking thrown in for good measure.
If that's coming back then I'll get my shit together cos that was the only part of the Hip Hop dancing thang that I was any fucking good at !

You're pretty much on the nose with that summary, though TURF includes a bit more story telling elements and that's what makes it unique I think. Plus it includes some of what I like to call 'toe tipping', a lot of isolation and contortion (which I guess are basically in the pop and lock family), various crip walk (and wiggle walk) influenced moves that originate from old school tango and salsa steps, as well as tons of influence from early tap and jive (like the Charleston).
My favorite part of Turfin' is glising and sliding and floating, most definitely. Get your shit together, swoop over to Berlin, and let's hit a train station for good measure!

Welcome to SSDB. Apart from err...turfing (sounds like the thing my dog does in long grass when he rips big chunks of out and shakes it until he "kills" his catch. The twat.) what other element you into?

The one that fucks up my kicks way too often.

Welcome to the best forum in the world!
Stationed in the home of supe, I assume that means you're in the armed forces then.
Get some pics of your kicks up here (dont worry about photography skills, just as long as they're in focus enough for us to know what they are!) and stick around, you may learn a thing or two!

Thanks Sneakerphile! Not in the armed forces. Just got too familiar with Berlin to not call it home. Plus, like you said, what better place to be than where the brand I love was born?
I'll do my best to put some pics up soon. Will definitely be sticking around. Hope to a stripe or three!

Not very often, seems like every time I go I end up leaving disappointed, no Superstar 80s, no Vins, nothing out of the ordinary.
