I have a simple but effective tip for PS3 owners - use a couple of spacers (an oblong bit of wood or metal etc) to raise it off the surface it's on (about 2-3 inches if poss). This lets the air get to the vents around the bottom of the machine and keep it cooler so therefore quieter and more efficient.

I did it today and it's worked well, the noisy fans havent kicked in at all. So thought I'd pass it on....

I just played the trial version of GT5 and frankly, they've fucked it !
The playability has definitely dropped off and it just seems too clinical.
A total fucking let down is my first impression.

Was going with Amazon for Bioshock 2 at £29.99 but cancelled the order and found it on the bay for £31.99 with the book of the artwork.

To keep it slightly on-topic: Just got the eggbox through the post this morning. No games yet but Flashpoint should be here tomorrow. Been tearing up the PC version all afternoon, the bastard squad controls are annoying as hell. Gives you the most basic of options (formation and move here) and the context sensitive stuff requires pinpoint accuracy. Can't wait to get system link up and Co-op it though.

Only gonna use it for fight night, EA MMA and Flashpoint co-op atm. Any recomendations for cheap-yet-good games for it? (I mean properly good, innovative stuff, not just above-average shooter clone)
