I've got some custom insoles that cost about that much, but it's cos I've got really flat feet, and without the insoles it fucks up my ankles, which fuck up my knees, which fuck up my hips, which fucks up my back....
I've only got the one pair, but I switch them between shoes constantly, I never go without them
