Dunno. Seems like adidas is doing the same thing with Run DMC as they did with Star Wars: do a small release to the specialist shops (the 1,986 pairs) and then do a bigger blowout to the masses to capitalize on the previous model's hype.

I'm very happy with them and glad i managed to get a pair sure they ain't nothing much different from the other Run Dmc Colabs but i still had to have a pair

Kto - By Tie down you mean elasticated wearable with no laces??? If so yes it's a big chunky peice of elastic more than ample to hold ya foot in place without the need for laces
