Blimey, 3 months! You're one lucky guy they turned up at all. Congrats to you! Btw, think I saw a pair of Yodas at around £600 the other day Shocked

@EZ - I've bought most of my pairs on Ebay. I do a search every day Wink

@ Sk8 - Tell me about it! It's a constant battle against cracking stripes and sticky tongues with the 90's. I've already re-painted the tongues on one of my 93' Pro Models.

Erik they are amazing. I think reconstructing the tongue is the way to go, if you have a sewing machine. Just that top layer. getting the tongue in and out is doable with a few cheap tools. Let me know if you want info.. could also get a tailor/seamstress to do it. Definitely worth it for those.

Received a pair of McNairy Promodels today. I haven't owned a pair of Promodels since 2006 or something like that. They are nicer in the flesh IMO, even though they are based on the 80s Superstar Smile

Painting the tongues actually worked pretty good. After removing the old sticky paint with acetone the "mesh" underneath worked well as a base for new paint. As good as new again.

Nice pick-ups Fieldsy! Them blue croc 80s are growing on me.

I couldn't pass on these when I had the chance...
