These last weekend in Herzogenaurach!

How was your visit ?

Had a great time. Was staying in the hotel at the back of adidas HQ. Hired a bike and cycled through Herzogenaurach. Realy great city with lots off Bayrischer characteristics. Good terraces where the smallest beer you can order was a 0.4 liter. You buy a 0.5 liter of Weizen beer under 3 euro's so that went well with the hot weather.


Tried to enter the adidas complex but that was not possible. There was a fence around their territory and could not see much. This is a picture from the back of the office:

Shopping:
There are several outlets in Herzo. The adidas outlet have 30% discount on everything and only a few products with more discount. Most of the products are from a few years back. Some products they sell in their outlet are cheaper on their own website than in the outlet. I only bought a beer opener and a ballpoint. Puma outlet is the same story. There is an outlet with different brands and no bargains there either. There is a Nike Factory outlet too, but walked past it. By the adidas outlet there is an adidas Neo and Reebok outlet building to. They had some B-grade Originals products for 29.95 but nothing in my size or very special. So for the shopping you don't need to visit it when you know your way on the internet. Crazy to see that people see the sign "outlet" and buy stuff like everything is free and they only had 30% discount.

Saturday i went to Nürnberg (20 minutes from Herzo). Great city with lots of old buildings. and ornaments Very clean town and friendly people.


Shopping:
In Nürnberg i found one shop worth mentioning, "Brooklyn" they still had the whole City pack in different sizes, a skateshop with the back to the roots supes. Bought the adidas memory (https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/236...db90ff.jpg), some socks and some souvenirs. There were lots of other sneakershops and they all had the same supes (Footlocker and shops like that). When you are in the neighborhood from Nürnberg you definitely have to visit it. There was a market with products from the district and bought some liquor and special beer.

Looks beautiful mate. Shame you didn't get to don the white gloves but plenty of history in those pics.
