Its a pretty piss poor job in my opinion. Sole should have been cut out so that the cone surround couldn't be seen. Just having them screwed into the bottom of the shoe looks a bit crap.

A pair of Pro mods should be good for that. There is enough space inside the shoe for the "bass" element. Adding some fiberglass inside the shoe should actually make it stiffer for better sound.
If someone sees a CHEAP pair of Pro Mods please PM. The bigger the better

Well they are not Genelec's but maybe with some good speaker elements and some dedication you could come up with something that sounds better than your average Logitech PC-speakers and for added bonus you get the Original looks
