I don't think the number was ever released, though some people on ebay at the time were quoting numbers like 300 for the NBHDs.
Had to have been more than that, me thinks.

Yep, I'd say the NBHD numbers were higher than claimed....the rarest of the rare and somewhat desired from the AZX series seems to be the WWs, VAs, ACUs, Bodegas and GFs...then again much of the entire series is pretty hard to come by nowadays, except the dreaded ARCs and UNDFTDs...funny but of all of them the NBHDs are whats most out there....I'd pick up a few more of the series if I could now...

So did I - wished the DQMs werent so damn narrow...in hindsight, the AZX project was well done, compared to recent big projects, even the Whats your story Pts 1 & 2 now...
