Help a Newbie! Are these Fake?
#1

Hi all

First of all sorry if this is mentioned before. I have tried searching with no joy. Im new!

I have just recieved these superstars from ebay.

This is the original picture posted on ebay. I though they looked nice so put in a bid and won. Sorry about the small image.

This is what i recieved. I have put my own red laces in.

I thought the shells look a different to most but the quality seemed good and all other obvious fake giveaways were not there so thought they must be ok.

However I have now seen the same superstars on ebay with the "nornal shells".

I cant get any decent size pictures of them saved but the link is:

What do you guys think? I have read about samples and thought thats maybe what these are?

Help me put my mind at rest!
All thoughts are welcome.
Need to get back to the seller if they are fake.

Thanks in advance.

Check the serial no's under the tongue fella, they should be different on each shoe.

Your shoe is different from the one in this link

Look at the lace holes.

And nothing wrong with the shell. It's an LTO shell (some of us really hate them Laughing ). They're legit I think.

WildOne - Yeah the serial numbers are the same, no heel clits and adidas logo on sole are facing opposite directions.

Fritze - Good spot. Bit of an amatuer mistake on my part. They are different, although only slighty. I prefer the ones I havent got! lol.

Glad you think they are legit. I deffinately prefer the standard shells over these.

Yeah sorry. Typing error on my part. The serial numbers on the tongues are different on each shoe.

Then I'd say you are sweet....

Yeah, legit but different than the pic in the listing, which is odd. If you do a Google search using the ART number on the shoe that you have you should see pics... of the shoe that you have. I'd still still send a "WTF?" message to the seller to see why it's a different shoe.

Fieldsy. Thanks for your help. I feel alot happier now I know you guys with alot more experience and knowledge think there legit!

Tifoso. I'll try searching for those numbers when I get home. Sounds like a good idea.
However the 1st pic posted is the picture of the auction I won. The 2nd, 3rd and 4th pics are I what I recieved.
The link is for some other shoes currently for sale on the bay. I originally thought they were all the same bar the shells which got me woried.
Fritze pointed out they are not the same tho.
I think that should make sense. Typing a decent post on my iPhone is a ball ache!

Typing a decent post in English is a ball ache in general, no matter if I type it on a phone, laptop or normal PC. Laughing

Agreed.
The amount of times I went back to correct spelling mistakes. in the end I just ask myself, will they know what I mean?
If the answers yes. Post it.
