Which models feature the interchangeable stripes?
Sounds retarded, I know. I thought every model with interchangeable stripes would have IS in the name. But the bk5 and the others don't have an IS in the name.
That episode of power rangers in space with the ninja turtles was awesome. I have the first six seasons on my computer.

In 2006 there was a special adicolor release celebrating the original custom sneakers concept. This featured 7 pairs of Superstars with interchangeable stripes. They were called adidas Superstar II W5, BK5, BL5, P5, R5, G5 or Y5 depending on the colour.
These were obviously a success so adidas followed up the collection with a number of similar Superstars - these normally have IS in the model name.
There's lots of fakes online so if you're not too hot at spotting them then I recommend buying from a big, reputable store (footlocker etc), there is normally a release or 2 around with changeable stripes. Or try searching on jdsports.co.uk

Those ebay sellers are fuckers. I sent a message to the seller in the link I posted. I asked "can you verify the authenticity of this shoe?" The seller responded "Yes, all of our shoes are authentic" I replied "Can you VERIFY the authenticity?" They haven't responded. My concern is, how do I verify the authenticity besides studying the pictures? And if they are fake, how do I report the cocksucker?

Yeah, I definitely will when I get back to my computer. I'm posting from the phone right now. So the more recent models with interchangeable stripes mostly have IS in their name. Which ones, besides the 06, do not have IS in their name?

Another dumbass retarded facepalm causing question, but what is the difference between legit supes and fake ones? I'm asuming things like fabric quality, rubber quality, poor stitching, etc.
Has anyone ever actually worn the fake ones around without knowing it?
Also, I have this ghetto place in my city called Top to Bottom. I get all my fat laces there. They have a lot of colors. They also have dickies and ben davis clothes in many colors and what looks to be a lot of bootlegged shit. At the back of the store they have about 6 or 7 styles of superstars. I'm pretty sure they're all fake, but the next time I go to get some laces I will take pictures. If we can decide their shit is fake, how can I take further steps to get them to stop selling them?
It says somewhere on here that you guys "report them to the proper authorities" what does that mean?

Take a look at spotfakeadidas.com. That site is aimed at the 35th range but the differenes between fakes and genuine supes are simlar for 'normal' supes.

I have actually looked at that site. It kind of led me here actually.
Would it be wrong of me to post my pictures of my new supes in this thread? I know they're the basic black ones, but damn I still love them. They're my first pair, really. I don't count the other ones because they were too big and they started to crease up immediately. I am keeping these ones fresh. I actually applied some leather conditioning cream when I got them in the hopes it would reduce any potential creasing. I can't stand that damn shit.
Just purchased a pair of black LTO's this morning. Gotta wait for them to come in the mail. Does anyone else have this shoe? Are the stripes black or grey? Hard to tell in the picture.
