Lovely pickups wildone, I love those yellow and orange metals. Sooooo jealous!
Nice job on the green 80s fieldsy (even though adidas stole the idea for green 80s from me Laughing )

Man goes into cage. Cage goes in the salsa. Sharks in the salsa. Our shark!

Damn what a nice pick ups on the last pages.

Vern, realy like those green with browns.

It's been a while since I've owned a pair of 80's Sneaker so quite happy at the mo...missus on the other hand still doesn't understand the need...god bless her...

The soles didn't come like that. It's painted on. But help me out guys. Some people are having doubts about their authenticity. What do you all think? Fake or not?

They are from 1999, made in Korea. Brand new.

so it was you... Sad was also bidding on them. nice catch Rob. Smile

whack lacing is killing your shoes!

Not fake Robert..

" shocking cock-up, the mice were furious "

Please tell me why. Teaj, me and others have doubts. Doesn;t Superstar 3 suggest there is somehting fishy going on. It kinda gives me an iPhony-feeling.

Vern.. It doesn't matter how cheap they were. You mustn't buy fakes! Get a refund and distroy them!

Some nice pick ups gents, and what Streak said Vern without the spelling error though Wink

If you have £5 and Chuck Norris has £5, Chuck Norris has more money than you.

To me the superstar IIIs look genuine, in terms of quality. I'm just not sure the Superstar III really existed?

These were a pair I ended up with a few years back and they were definite fakes.... but they look a lot worse than Robs (look at that box!!).

Perhaps those ones were just a fake version of Robs legit ones? But it's strange not to have more info around on the 'Superstar III' - they're nice shoes, not like Superstar 2Gs etc, but dont seem too different from IIs to warrant being called IIIs!

So they're genuine, quite rare and no-one knows much about them... there is something interesting about this case..

Rob they are definitely worth the purchase for the intrigue alone.

Hehe ... bought a similar pair on the bay a while ago. After looking at them I knew they were fake.
Seems that they had the same fty and art numbers as yours Tom. I got a refund and threw them in the bin.

Compared to a genuine pair the stitching was horrible.

Your pair is definitely looking better Rob but I would compare them to other pairs you have. Could help.

Like the green 80s fieldsy Cool

Cheers Fritze....they'll be getting an outing this weekend...

I think yours are fine Rob . . . I've got an identical pair I bought from Lurky and they're one of the comfiest pairs I have.
The flaking on the heel just happens with some old supes.

I don't wear Crocs, and I don't wear sandals/The pump don't work 'cause the vandals took the handles . . .

I wore my green 80's just yesterday. Love 'em.

Got these today.
