This guy contacted me on FB and is sending me some samples. The prints are heat transfers on top of the laces. Quite curious to see what they look like in the real.

Yeah same, it's a good idea for the kids/n*kes but doesn't really fit with the retro/originals vibe! I looked into doing printed laces but it's hard to get a good quality print that will stand up to regular wear (in our climate at least!).

If it's heat transferred, it'll be gone before you know it.
I'll be sticking with Mr T's laces.

I have enough trouble trying to make my laces look nice without the added effort of a mini jigsaw. Nice idea but not for me - nothing but an insanity encourager!

This guy sent me free samples and declared a value of $50 so I got hit with a customs charge and fees.

Hahahahhaa. Yeah, should've refused to pay then he'd have to have paid return fees.
That'll learn 'em!

I did not pay. He has offered to PP the fees. but can't be bothered with it tbh. Doesn't look good if you don't understand the basics of import and export taxes.
