Jesus Christ. I cannot begin to even feel the world of pain you must be in. How the hell did this happen? Did they escape or were the trainers by the cage?

My kids saw the pic and decided they wanted some as pets, which you can guess what my answer was to that!

So sorry for you mate

That's bad Obi. Killing something because of shoes is a bit harsh I think. They are not just any shoes though.

You must be able to repair them somehow, the red and purples at least. But how come they only went for that particular heel part? seems weird for them to chew just that bit Confused

They are pretty cute things I couldn't kill em.

Is it only the heel tab they chewed cos that is the only damage I can see...? It's not so bad if that was the case.... Looks like it could have been worse

One word would have prevented this.......boxes

See, this is one of the many reasons I don't have pets. Because if this happened to me, they would be dead, and the girlfriend would have to watch.
Look at it this way...you can get more animals if you wanted to, but good luck getting another pair of undeworlds!!!!!

Don't worry mate, i am not REALLY going to kill them... hahahah

And how it happened; I was in Australia and my GF had a dog over she was watching. The chinchillas went into the hall (where the shoes are at) and the bitch parked the cage too close to my shoes.. And they really eat EVERYTING they can grab. She never saw what happened, was a nice surprise for me when I was grabbing a pair..

Don't have a clue how this could be repaired..!?
